Morteza Dehghani is a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Psychology at Northwestern University. His research interests include cross cultural differences in moral decision making, analogical and case-based reasoning, belief revision and counterfactual reasoning. He is specifically interested in the role of cultural products in the emergence of sacred values and in moral framing. His research approach consists of both conducting psychological experiments and computational cognitive modeling. Morteza received his Ph.D. and MS from Northwestern University and MS and BS from University of California and Los Angeles.
