Law – ARTIS & UK House of Lords

Andrew Wilson was appointed a Policy Fellow at ARTIS Research in July 2011. His research interests include international conflict and cyber warfare. He is currently engaged in research on cyber terrorism.

Since November 2010, Andrew has acted as Political Advisor to Lord John Alderdice, the President of ARTIS Europe. In this capacity he carries out research and provides advice on a variety of topics including foreign policy, international development and health policy, in consultation with stakeholders such as lobby groups, Members of Parliament and government ministers.

Prior to his appointment as Political Advisor, Andrew worked as a trial attorney at the London office of Dorsey & Whitney (Europe) LLP, where he specialized in fraud litigation and Bribery Act / FCPA advisory work. He is qualified to practice law in both New York and England.

Andrew holds an LL.M in International Legal Studies from New York University and an LL.B (Hons) summa cum laude from the University of Edinburgh, where he was President of the Law Students’ Council and won First Prize in International Law.
