Rich Davis is the CEO and Co-Founder of Artis International. Since inception, the company has conducted field-based scientific research in conflict environments exploring the cognitive and behavioral aspects of human decision making. That work has allowed Artis to develop cognitive and cultural generative artificial intelligence tools to understand and shape human interactions on the internet.

Davis holds an academic position as a Senior Research Fellow at the Changing Character of War Centre in Pembroke College at the University of Oxford. He also serves as Chairman of the Board of Black Mountain, a private equity firm.

Davis served at The White House as the Director of Prevention (terrorism) Policy. Prior, he served as an advisor to two different Secretaries at the United States Department of Homeland Security.

He has authored publications on energy, international security, information operations, psychological dimensions of human decision-making in conflict, and political violence and terrorism, including the book, Hamas, Popular Support & War in the Middle East.

Davis has a PhD from the London School of Economics; an MPA from Harvard; an MA from the Naval War College; and an MA from Azusa Pacific. He holds BA degrees in Finance and Social Science from Hope International.
